About The Photographer

Scott Keeler, a staff photographer for the St. Petersburg Times, began capturing images of Florida's lighthouses in August 1993. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Photojournalism from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. A native of Basking Ridge, N.J., he has lived in Florida for nine years. Scott and his wife, Janet, live in St. Petersburg.

The lighthouse photos were donated to the St. Augustine Lighthouse Museum in St. Augustine Fl. and to the Junior Service League of St. Augustine.

The photographs are on display in the restored lighthouse keepers quarters.
