The Lure of Egypt: Land of the Pharaohs Revisited
Egypt, land of pharaohs, pyramids, harems and the Nile comes to life through June 10, 1996, (date may be extended) at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. The exhibition includes works by European and American artists who traveled to Egypt after the 1798 Napoleonic campaign in North Africa.

Among others, the exhibition features works from the Louvre in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

Exhibition and museum information
Admission: Adults $5; groups and seniors $3; students $2; under 6, free. Sunday is a free day.
Hours of Operation: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday; 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday; and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month.
Praking: Surface parking available at and around the museum.
Directions: I-275 to Exit 10, follow signs.
